Cara Rifkin is Vice President of Programming at Lando Entertainment. She has produced numerous series in the lifestyle space, including Guy’s Grocery Games and Tournament of Champions for Food Network, House Hunters: Comedians on Couches and House Hunters Family for HGTV, The Globe for Discovery+, and Burger Truck Brawl for OWN. She has also developed shows such as the reboot of Food Network’s Dinner: Impossible, HGTV’s A Very Brady Renovation, and Discovery+’s Design Star: Next Gen and Reno My Rental.

 Previously, Cara was at Relativity Lifestyle Television where she created and produced Food Network’s All-Star Academy and Patricia Heaton Parties, Cooking Channel’s Tia Mowry at Home, and HGTV’s A Hero’s Welcome. She received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Culinary Program in 2016 for Patricia Heaton Parties.

 Cara began her career in development and programming at Travel Channel while earning a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Southern California. She graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in theater and art history.

 When she’s not making cooking shows, Cara is still thinking about food – and she prides herself on being the one everyone asks “where should I eat?” She also holds community leadership roles at The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles.
