Fernando Hernandez serves as EVP of Development, overseeing content creation and strategic partnerships across all Center Drive Media companies, including Triage Entertainment and Lando Entertainment as well as CDM’s strategic partnership with Levity Live, which owns and operates a national networks of premium live comedy clubs, Levity Talent management and the Improv comedy brand. 

Prior to joining Center Drive media, Fernando was Head of Alternative for ABC Studios, where he spearheaded the ground-up launch of the division and amassed an impressive original IP library.

Prior to ABC Studios, he was Senior Vice President / Head of Alternative for Universal Television, where he was responsible for all Universal Television network non-fiction productions.  Similar to ABC Studios, Hernandez built Universal Television’s Alternative division from the ground up, and developed an impressive slate of projects, that include two-time Emmy Award winging Hollywood Game Night, the soft-scripted comedy Better Late Than Never, celebrity variety show, I Can Do That, Last Comic Standing, Food Fighters, and American Dream BuildersWorld of Dance starring Jennifer Lopez, and Titan Games starring The Rock are of special note because both projects were internally created by Hernandez and the development team. 

Prior to joining Universal Television, Hernandez was Executive Vice President of Development and Production at Ryan Seacrest Productions, where he oversaw a diverse slate of non-scripted television properties, including Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Married to Jonas for E!, Shah’s of Sunset for Bravo. 

Fernando’s creative expertise stems from a decade as boots-on-the-round Executive Producer on projects such as TV Land’s She’s Got The Look, ABC Family’s Venus & Serena: For Real, and MTV’s Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & DaveBecoming, as well as projects for VH1, TLC and MTV International. 

Hernandez also holds a JD degree from the USC School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from UCLA.
